What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. They let a site remember things between page loads — most commonly, that you are signed in.
What CutAI uses
We use essential cookies, plus one kind of referral cookie. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not use cookies to build a profile of you or to track you across other websites.
The cookies set when you use our website are:
- Authentication cookies, set by our authentication provider when you sign in. These keep you signed in as you move between pages and let us verify your session is valid. Without them you cannot stay signed in or reach your account page.
- Payment cookies, set by Stripe on the checkout and billing pages, which Stripe hosts. Stripe uses these to process your payment securely and to detect fraud. See Stripe's privacy policy for details.
- Referral cookies, set only if you arrive through a creator's link (a web address ending in ?ref= and their code) or type a creator code on the sign-up page. They record which creator sent you so that creator is credited if you subscribe. They are tolt_referral and tolt_data, set by Tolt, the service that runs our creator program (see Tolt's privacy policy), and cutai_ref, set by us. They last 30 days, hold a random reference and the creator's code — never your name or email — and are used for nothing else. If you never use a creator link or code, they are never set.
That is the complete list. If it changes, this page changes with it.
Page-view counting
Our website counts page views with Vercel Web Analytics. It sets no cookie and does not identify you; it tells us which pages are visited and roughly where from, so we can see what is working.
The CutAI mobile app
The iPhone app does not use cookies. It keeps your session in your device's secure storage instead. Nothing described on this page applies to the app.
Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the essential cookies will stop you from signing in or completing a purchase — the signed-in parts of the site will not work. Blocking or deleting the referral cookies only means the creator who sent you is not credited; nothing else changes.
We do not show a cookie consent banner. The referral cookies are the only ones that are not strictly necessary, and you can decline them by not using a creator link or code, or by clearing them.
Changes to this policy
If we start using additional cookies, we will update this page and change the date above before those cookies are set. August 30, 2026: the referral cookies were added when the creator program launched.
